Here's the truth...
(WARNING: No sugar coating in this letter 😜)
From the moment you started teaching
The way your body starts to look and feel goes downhill... 😩
In more ways than one.
Mentally & Physically (everything is connected)
So come the end of the school term you are shattered
Because your body just can't cope with the demands
It's almost like trying to send a car that is falling to pieces on a long journey
Only to find the car keeps on breaking down
It just doesn't have the strength or power to make it to the final destination.
But you know this...
That's why you do a little bit of exercise here or there
Because you know it's good for you and you feel better after it.
To add to this - 30% of school aged children are now Obese but,
What chance do they have if their teacher is reflecting poor health back at them.
This is a completely different issue though
Not all teachers of course but this letter once you read it's entirety is going to create a HUGE SHIFT in how you operate from now on.
You see,
It's not fair that you have to get to the end of the term with nothing in the tank because your body isn't performing at the level it should be.
So you end up spending the holidays worn out and recovering 🌡💊
Let's be honest you aren't in teaching for the money so where is the compromise if it feels like you are working 24/7 whilst running your body into the ground in the process.
No wonder why the sofa looks like the safest bet 😅
All of the stress and anxiety that leads to you feeling burnt-out and needing time of work.
Is because your body feels like 💩
So....
Here's another question.
What would it be like if your body actually looked and felt amazing
Do you think it would make a difference?
You were more productive, less tired and finally....
Got to the end of the term and weren't exhausted.
Well here is what you need to do:
Upgrade your body's energy system by - Building muscle FAST so you get STRONG!!
Simple.
The reason you might feel tired and run down is because you don't have a big enough engine. Your body isn't optimised to be able to cope with all the demands placed on it 🙀
So while some teachers will say they know what I mean and that they exercise every so often or go to the gym or do some form of class and try to live an active lifestyle...
You aren't training your body in the correct way. You aren't focussing on building as much muscle as possible.
Put it this way...
Let's imagine there are two types of car.
A Ford Fiesta vs a Ferrari 🏎
Which car would win in a race??
The Ferrari of course, But Why?
It is stronger, the engine is bigger, it's quicker and has more muscle ⚡️
So our body is the same... If you get tired quickly or exhausted.
You are the Ford Fiesta 👎
So over time if you don't start making the engine stronger and bigger your car (body) will break down.
Just like I explained at the start of step 3
And this is when the workload consumes you.
I understand though you probably have tried before to do this and gave up but that's because you jump straight to this part...
This is actually what you should be focussing on from about 8 weeks onwards when you start to fix up your work/life balance...
It honestly has nothing to do with diet , exercise or fitness in the beginning that's why most teachers fail...
It is also the reason why my 16 week School Of Balance Course For Busy Female Teachers get's incredible results...
Because we put some key foundations in place first so when a storm comes the house doesn't blow down (Your routines)
So if this is Step 3...
What about Step 1 & 2?
Well before I dive into them to explain where you need to start let me know you some results from some of the teachers after they went through stage 3 of our curriculum.
Please note: These results happen purely as a by-product from being consistent and first learning how to solve the biggest problem of...
